Non-Dairy Yogurt Starter, Belle+Bella, makes it easy and fast  to make delicious, all-natural vegan yogurt from plant-based dairy alternatives like coconut milk, almond milk, or soy milk, as well as any other type of milk, such as cow, goat, or sheep. The starter contains 2 billion live cultures that promote gut health, is non-GMO, gluten-free, and contains no artificial additives or preservatives. Suitable for all types of yogurt makers. One packet can make up to 1 liter of fresh yogurt. Non-dairy yogurts tend to have a thinner consistency, so you can add tapioca powder, arrowroot powder, cornstarch, or gelatin to thicken them.

Belle+Bella, Non-Dairy Yogurt Starter, 4 Packets, (5 g) Each

Instructions for preparation:

  1. You will need one packet (5 grams) per liter of milk.
  2. Heat 1 liter of milk to 82 C
  3. Allow the milk to cool to 42-44 C.
  4. Dissolve one sachet (5 grams) of starter in a small amount of cool milk in a cup and mix thoroughly.
  5. Pour the mixture back into the remaining cold milk and mix well.
  6. Incubate at 44 C for 10-12 hours. Incubate up to 24 hours for a thicker, more acidic yogurt.
  7. Once incubation is complete, refrigerate.

Other Ingredients: Non-GMO maltodextrin, S. thermophilus, L. bulgaricus, L. acidophilus.

Warnings: For maximum freshness, consume finished yogurt within 7 days.
