Probiotics for Children, (Kids Probiotic Sachets) from Florastor - this product is a product from living freeze-dried yeast cells of the Saccharomycete boulardii species. Florastor is a trademark of Saccharomycete boulardii.  Cells are placed in capsules and sealed. each Florastor capsule contains 250mg of S. boulardii. The product is made using a process called lyophilization (freeze-drying), which preserves billions of live S. boulardii cells in powder form. Biocodex is still an independent French pharmaceutical company with subsidiaries in the United States.
