Headache Relief, Extra Strength, Excedrin - a combination pain reliever that will provide immediate relief from occasional headaches and minor pain associated with insomnia. Tablets are to be taken in the evening, so they will also provide improved sleep. The tablets contain three ingredients: acetaminophen, aspirin and dimedrol citrate. Acetaminophen or paracetamol helps reduce minor  pain of moderate intensity, including headaches with fever and colds. In addition, acetaminophen will have an antipyretic effect. Aspirin is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug that has analgesic, antipyretic, and anti-inflammatory effects; it is used for high-intensity headaches, migraines, as well as to reduce fever and reduce inflammation in diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis. Diphenhydramine citrate has antiallergic activity and will also have local anesthetic, antispasmodic, sedative and hypnotic effects.  The tablets will help with headaches of various origins, including after injuries caused by increased stress, and with severe migraine attacks. They do not contain caffeine and are not addictive.

Recommended use:Adults and children over 12 years of age, take 2 caplets before bed with a full glass of water. Do not take more than 2 capsules in any 24 hours unless directed to do so. Do not use in children under 12 years of age.  Do not use more than directed

Other Ingredients:enzoic acid, calcium carbonate, blue FD&C No. 1 varnish aluminum, yellow iron oxide, hypromellose, low-substituted hydroxypropylcellulose, magnesium stearate, maltodextrin, medium chain triglycerides, polydextrose, polysorbate 80, povidone, pregelatinized corn starch, silicated microcrystalline cellulose, stearic acid, talc, titanium dioxide, zinc stearate. Each capsule contains 75 mg of calcium.

Warnings:Children and teenagers who have a medical condition or are recovering from chickenpox or flu-like symptoms should not use this product . If behavioral changes accompanied by nausea and vomiting occur while using this product, consult a doctor as these symptoms may be an early sign of Reye's syndrome, a rare but serious condition.
Allergy Warning:  Acetaminophen may cause serious skin reactions . Symptoms may include: skin redness, blisters, rash. If a skin reaction occurs, stop use and seek immediate medical attention.
Allergy Warning: Aspirin may cause a severe allergic reaction which may include: hives, facial swelling, asthma (shortness of breath), shock.
Liver Warning: this product contains acetaminophen. Do not take more than 2 capsules within 24 hours, which is the maximum daily dose; with other drugs containing acetaminophen; 3 or more alcoholic drinks each day while using this product.
Stomach Bleeding Warning:  This product contains NSAIDs that may cause severe stomach bleeding. The chance increases if you are 60 or older; you have had stomach ulcers or bleeding problems; take blood thinners (anticoagulants) or steroid medications; take other drugs containing NSAIDs, prescription or over-the-counter (aspirin, ibuprofen, naproxen, or others); Drink 3 or more alcoholic beverages every day while using this product; take more or for longer than directed.
Do not use if you have ever had an allergic reaction to acetaminophen, aspirin, or any other pain reliever/fever reducer; with any other drug containing acetaminophen (prescription or over-the-counter); If you are not sure whether a product contains acetaminophen, ask your doctor or pharmacist; with any other product containing diphenhydramine, even applied to the skin; children under 12 years of age
Before use, consult a physician if you have liver disease; the warning about stomach bleeding applies to you; you have a history of stomach problems such as heartburn; you have high blood pressure, heart disease, cirrhosis of the liver or kidney disease; are taking a diuretic; you have asthma; you have glaucoma; you have breathing problems such as emphysema or chronic bronchitis; you have trouble urinating due to an enlarged prostate gland.
Before use, consult your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking a prescription drug for diabetes, gout, arthritis; any other medication or are under medical supervision for any serious medical condition; any product containing aspirin, acetaminophen or any other pain reliever/fever reducer; sedatives or tranquilizers.
Drowsiness will occur when using this product; avoid alcoholic drinks; do not drive or operate machinery.
Stop use and consult a physician if an allergic reaction occurs. Seek medical attention immediately; you experience any of the following signs of stomach bleeding: feeling weak, vomiting blood, bloody or black stools, abdominal pain that does not go away; insomnia persists continuously for more than 2 weeks, insomnia can be a symptom of a serious illness; pain increases or lasts more than 10 days; the unhealthy area is red or swollen; ringing in the ears or hearing loss occurs; any new symptoms appear.
If you are pregnant or nursing, consult a physician before use. It is especially important not to use aspirin during the last 3 months of pregnancy unless directed by your doctor, as it may cause problems for the unborn baby or complications during labor. Keep out of the reach of children. If overdose occurs, get medical help or call a poison control center immediately. Prompt medical attention is critical for both adults and children, even if you don't notice any signs or symptoms.
