Ultra Preventive EZ Swallow by Douglas Laboratories is a multivitamin in smaller tablets with a natural vanilla flavor coating. The perfect blend of ingredients in the form of easy-to-swallow tablets are carefully selected to meet your daily requirement of vitamins, minerals, trace elements and other nutrients. Each ingredient is included based on its absorbency, competition from other nutrients, and allergenic potential. Several nutrients, including beta-carotene, vitamins C and E, and B vitamins are included in this formula for: antioxidant protection; increasing energy production; support for healthy blood cells; health of the nervous system; hormonal balance. Most forms of minerals and trace elements are included in their most bioavailable forms. Ultra Preventive EZ Swallow contains Metafolin®, a natural form of 5-methyltetrahydrofolate (5-MTHF) supplemented with 1000 IU of vitamin D3 per serving. 5-MTHF is the main form of folate found in your body's cells. It plays a key role in the remylation of homocysteine to methionine and is the only form of folate that can cross the blood-brain barrier. Herbal green food base Ultra Preventive Xs also contains important phytonutrients.
