Description
Zeaxanthin and lutein along with other natural antioxidants (vitamin C, beta-carotene, vitamin E) protect the corpus luteum from the effects of free radicals, protect the macula from exposure to the blue spectrum of sunlight, prevent the development of atherosclerosis of blood vessels, including the vessels of the eye, prevent the development cataracts, development of diabetic retinopathy.
