Caprylic acid, also known as octanoic acid, is a naturally occurring fatty acid. Caprylic acid helps create a favorable environment for beneficial microflora. Due to its solubility in adipose tissue, it is believed to penetrate the cells of the intestinal mucosa and carry out its activities there. As soon as due to any factors (iron deficiency, stress, decreased immunity, long-term use of antibiotics) this balance is disturbed, there is a high probability of candidiasis. Its first symptoms are diarrhea, headache, and thrush. Caprylic acid will be able to not only regulate the yeast balance in the shortest possible time, but also stop the further reproduction of harmful bacteria.
