For conventional ovens, bread baking recipe:
1 2/3 cup warm water or milk (cow's, rice, soy) 1 whole egg plus enough egg white about 3/4 cup 1/4 cup melted butter or vegetable oil 1 teaspoon a spoonful of apple cider vinegar
Stir the yeast in warm milk in a separate bowl, set aside for 5 minutes. Add eggs, melted butter, vinegar and yeast-milk mixture and mix for bread mixture on medium speed for 3 minutes. Place the dough in an oiled mold for about 25-35 minutes to rise. Bake for 60-65 minutes at 180 degrees. Cover for another 10 minutes to prevent excessive browning. To check the doneness, press the loaf with your fingernail. A crisp, hard sound indicates a properly baked bread. Cool until sliced.
Baking bread in a bread machine
