Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) is characterized by a set of symptoms, the most common of which include bloating and chronic abdominal pain, flatulence, diarrhea followed by constipation, and mucus in the stool. Some patients with IBS have other gastrointestinal symptoms such as belching, heartburn, acid reflux, difficulty swallowing, and nausea. IBS is a very common disorder, usually beginning in late adolescence or early adulthood during periods of emotional stress. Women are more commonly affected. Recommendations for use: As a dietary supplement, mix 1 scoop (3 g) of powder with 120-150 ml of fresh juice. Then drink 240 - 480 ml of water. Take 3 times daily or as directed by a physician.
