In West Africa, authentic black soap is known as the Yoruba. Its black color is due to the way the soap is 'made', when it is boiled to a charcoal state. Many cultures in West Africa use charcoal to detoxify and cleanse the skin. It is an integral part of true African black soap. Genuine black soap TM Alaffia is made according to a centuries-old recipe for hand-brewing. It contains: shea butter and palm oil from West Africa. The soap is made in the sun for three weeks, making the soap suitable for all skin types and all ages. It can be used to wash the skin of the body and face, as a shampoo, as a shaving agent, as a shower gel. For more detailed advice, you can contact the manager at the Biotus website.
