Description

Magnesium is a vital element for our body. It is found in all tissues of the body (most of all in bone tissue) and is critical for energy production, glucose uptake, protein synthesis, muscle contraction, nerve impulse transmission and bone mineralization.

Vitamin B6 is essential for the proper functioning of sugars, fats and proteins in the body. It is also necessary for the proper growth and development of the brain, nerves, skin and many other organs.

Vitamin B6 is also called pyridoxine. It is involved in the process of making serotonin and norepinephrine, which are chemicals that transmit signals in the brain. Vitamin B6 is also involved in the formation of myelin, a protein layer that forms around nerve cells.

Vitamin B6 deficiency in adults can cause health problems associated with the nervous system, skin , mucous membranes and the circulatory system. In children, the central nervous system is at risk.  Vitamin B6 deficiency  may occur in people with complications of kidney failure,  alcoholism, liver scarring, an overactive thyroid gland, problems with nutrient absorption and heart failure, and in those who take certain medications.

Mild vitamin B6 deficiency is common.

The main sources of vitamin B6 are cereals, legumes, vegetables (carrots, spinach, peas and potatoes), milk, cheese, eggs, fish, liver, meat. Vitamin B6 is often used with other B vitamins  in complex vitamin formulas.

To ensure that the vitamins you consume   are used   in the body, they must first be converted into their active forms - coenzymes. The sublingual coenzyme vitamin enters directly into the bloodstream in its active form, ready to act  immediately. This avoids losses that can occur not only during digestion, but also during the conversion process in the liver.  Pyridoxal-5'-phosphate (P-5'-P) is the main metabolically active coenzyme  form of vitamin B-6. It is synthesized mainly in the liver  through enzymes that require B-2, zinc and magnesium for their activity. P-5'-P is associated with numerous enzymes, many of which are involved in the conversion of amino acids to the neurotransmitters dopamine, norepinephrine, and serotonin. P-5'-P is also necessary for the synthesis of the hemoglobin molecule. You can find this and many other supplements on the Biotus website. Experienced consultants will be able to choose the product that is right for you.
