Our bodies need antioxidants to stay healthy and protect against infections. One of them is lutein and zeaxanthin (Lutein & Zeaxanthin), produced by the American manufacturer of vitamins NOW Foods in gel capsules. Many people know the benefits of lutein and zeaxanthin for vision, so we try to eat more raw green leafy vegetables, orange, yellow and red fruits and vegetables (spinach, red peppers, raspberries, paprika, avocados, kale and more), as lutein and zeaxanthin are not synthesized in the body, but must be supplied with food. To maintain good vision, a person should receive from 5 to 10 mg of lutein daily with food (250 g of spinach or 500 g of sweet pepper). However, our normal diet contains much less lutein than normal. Other Ingredients: Capsule (bovine gelatin, glycerin, water), sunflower oil and natural mixed tocopherols (soybean oil). Non-GMO.
