Pregnancy is a critical time to optimize health and nutrition for both the mother and her baby. However, especially during the first trimester, because of nausea, women are not always able to consume the required amount of calories or various nutrients. Our multivitamins are designed to benefit pregnant women who suffer from 'morning sickness' and need additional vitamins: vitamin C, vitamin B6 and vitamin K.

Centers for Control and Disease Prevention recommends folic acid for all women of childbearing age because the greatest need is during the first trimester, when a woman may not even know she is pregnant. A woman who consumes a healthy diet of adequate folic acid may reduce the risk of having a child with a birth defect of the brain or spinal cord. Folic acid intake should not exceed 250 percent of the recommended daily requirement (1000 mcg). compensated only from the diet.
